Alright, I understand your reasons for going to iOS but the lack of playing nice with Linux makes it a non-starter for me. I realize that there are some conveniences with the Apple Ecosystem but I just can’t get along with the locked in nature of it.
You are committed now, but when it comes time to look at replacing the mobile, you might want to look at something like GrapheneOS on a phone that works well with it.
I have to say that I am in complete agreement with Wendy on the show. The iOS interface is pretty terrible. That said, I am probably going to get myself an iPad for testing purposes.
