Mixed feelings about GTK4. Obviously it’s benefiting Gnome DE but if it’s becoming less useful to others, that’s quite sad in my opinion. Could this make Google’s Flutter more likely to be resorted to? I hope not, especially with Qt licensing looking strange at times, especially recently.
Fast Search & Transfer, or FAST was a Norwegian company acquired by Microsoft in 2008. I used to work there.
Currently, the search technologies developed by this company and their ‘search server’ are part of SharePoint.
