Then we’ll round out the show with a new device that Microsoft announced to compete in the foldable phone space, we’ll talk about that as well as the other foldable phones.   1. Thanks, Michael - very interesting, as usual. I’m especially excited about the System76 Coreboot firmware news and have to say, look forward to a future in which we have Linux Systems running on open hardware as well.

    I have to say so far the folding phones seem to me to be a bit of a gimmick though I agree the Microsoft design looks far more practical than others. If I wanted a larger display while on the move, I’d be more inclined to pack a 7-inch tablet instead, though there seem to be fewer of them nowadays. Even 10-inch tablets are light enough, I find. Not quite sure who’d have a folding-phone use-case as must-have-need.
