Jill is a Linux Podcaster, Animator, Teacher, and Linux Gamer who loves putting Linux on her vintage computers as well as on her home built rigs. She spreads the Linux love at conventions, meetups and schools . . . gathering plush Tux’s along the way.
She has been passionate about Linux ever since her BBS days of downloading and installing many Slackware floppy disks in 1993. She is Co-organizer for LinuxChix Los Angeles which is a community for and by women interested in Linux and open source.
The LinuxChix LA annual booth and their projects at the Southern California Linux Expo (SCaLE) is one of her highlights of the year! She loves spreading her love, passion and knowledge of Linux to the community and her students. Currently, she is a Co-host on the LWDW weekly video podcast and Community Organizer at LinuxGameCast. And now is a proud host of Destination Linux with Ryan, Michael and Noah and loving her new journey on Destination Linux!
