233: GNOME Extension Breakage, KDE Plasma 6, Manjaro 23, SELinux & more Linux news!

  2. Is it ok to call Gnome the Apple of DE’s ? :innocent:
    Sleek design, easy to use but kind of authoritarian in their decisions and not mod oriented ? I feel like Gnome is great if you don’t touch anything and use it out of the box. If that experience doesn’t suit you, you’re better off trying another DE. Kind of like Apple is to me :man_shrugging:

  3. I think the comparison of GNOME to Apple makes sense except that Apple also makes very powerful features on occasion and create a ton of convenience value for users . . . I dont know if GNOME ever made a decision based on user convenience lol
