My First Time At The Southern California Linux Expo (SCALE 19x)

SCALE or the Southern California Linux Expo is an annual conference that takes place in the Los Angeles area. SCALE 19x (July 2022) was the first event since the period that shall not be named. This was my first time attending SCALE and my first time in California so I wanted to do a travel vlog of sorts to show my experience and the stuff I got up to while there.

SCALE’s mission is to provide educational opportunities on the topic of Open Source software. Open Source software is any software that meets the litmus test of the OSI (Open Source Initiative). Examples of OSS are GNU/Linux and the various BSD operating systems, and applications such as LibreOffice and Firefox.

  1. Just noticed that you did not provide a link to Jill’s Scale Tour that you mentioned at 13:13. Still looking around for the video, but if someone finds it before I do, it would be appreciated.

  2. sorry about that, I provided a link to the stream it was in but I was not specific about which stream it happened in. My bad.
