    I’m just beginning to give KDE Plasma a try. I’m coming from predominantly XFCE, OpenBox, and JWM. The last time that I tried KDE, it was sluggish and required a huge amount of resources (disk, ram, and cpu).
    Due to Michael’s continual advocacy of KDE Plasma, and what I’ve heard about the Steam Deck, I’m giving it a try with EndeavourOS. So far, so good. It takes a lot longer to start up the machine, but that could be due to the fact that I enabled disk encryption. Once KDE is running, it performs well enough.
